Background: Work on this album started in mid-to-late 2024 following the release of VULTURES 2.


Background

After Donda 2 was released on the Stem Player in February 2022, Kanye began working on his 11th studio album. The initial work slowed down after collaborations on the VULTURES albums. However, in August 2024, Kanye found inspiration after a listening party in South Korea and started working on a new solo album. On September 28, during a VULTURES LP in China, Kanye announced the title of his next solo album: Bully.
